Happy Anniversary

11 years ago today I married the woman of my dreams! We've done so much together and I am the luckiest guy on the face of the earth to have such an awesome wife. I thank God for her every day. My life has been so filled with joy since I met her and I am sure that it is only going to get better. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and love of my life.

Here are a few shots from our special day in 1998.

Trail A Bike

Braedyn has just about outgrown his front bike seat to the point where we were worried that it was going to break off as we ride along. To replace it we got a trailer bike that attaches to one of our bikes. THis allows Braedyn to pedal and hold on and feel like he's riding along with us, but without all the work of taking his little bike into town and not being able to make it back. He's really been loving this thing and proudly goes around telling everyone that he has a trailer bike.

Train Day

It was Santa Barbara county Train Day, so Daddy and Braedyn headed down to the Carpineria train station to catch the 9:37 train to Santa Barbara. There were lots of officials there to ride with us, even the mayor of SB. It was quite fun riding up there and we even got an interview with some person from Amtrak along with getting lots of pictures taken of us with all the officials by the local newspapers. unfortunately we didn't make the cut for printing so the stories in the paper weren't worth reading.... Once we got to SB there was a press conference and lots of free goodies to be had. Mommy picked us up there and we headed to the pool for some swimming.

Kinderkirk campout

Braedyn's pre-school had a little camp out at the school. We didn't stay the night, but came over for the BBQ and the singing around the fire.

Rasberries

Colorado brings nice, big, fat, juicy rasberries growing in Grandma and Grandpa's garden. Braedyn made sure that no ripe ones got left for the birds.

Party at Grandma & Grandpa's

On our last night in Colorado we had a little party at Grandma and Grandpa's house. There were lots of friends and family over and it was fun to see them all. It doubled as a birthday part for Grandma and Grandpa as well.

Alpine Slide

Winter Park claims to have the largest Alpine Slide, so we just had to try it out. Braedyn got a free full day pass and everyone else got a one ride pass so we all got to go ride down with him once. He even got to ride his own little cart when he went with Grandpa. He had a ton of fun riding this as well as riding the lift back up to the top.

Skate Park

Winter Park has a great little downtown park with a skate park and a climbing wall and lots of stuff to play on. We hung out there a couple of times, even catching a concert one night. Braedyn really enjoyed riding his bike in the skate park and is now lobbying for a skate park in Carpinteria.

More Hiking

Braedyn was a little trooper on our hike and made it pretty much the entire loop around the lake on his own. There was lots of stopping off for rock throwing and taking pictures.

Latigo Ranch

Talisha has an Aunt and Uncle who own a ranch in the mountains between Kremmling and Steamboat Springs. We headed up there one day while we were in Winter Park to see them, Talisha's Grandma and Mema and Papa who were out visiting as well. We had a lot of fun visiting, eating, watching horses, hiking around, playing in the stream, swimming in the pool and lots of other things.
