We spent 3 days at Disneyland with Mema and Papa. What a blast!

Low tide beach day

We spent an afternoon at Rincon beach. The tide was really low so the tidepools were great for playing in and the waves were good so surfing was fun as well.

Butterfly Park Hike

The day after Christmas we headed out for a nice hike in a butterfly preserve in Santa Barbara. Unfrtunately we never saw any butterflies, but we still had a wonderful day hiking and exploring.

 
 
 
 

Hiking

This hike included a beautiful view of a waterfall pouring onto the beach.

On our drive home we headed back down Hwy 1. There were a couple of nice short trails that we stopped off at for some hiking to break up the long drive a little bit.

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day close to home this year. The weather was so perfect that we headed to the beach to catch soak up some sunshine and enjoy the day. Later on we headed over to our friends house for a feast.

The rocket shooter is still a favorite toy around here. We took it to the beach today and built a rocket launch pad for it.

Boys Weekend

Mom ditched us for a few days to go hang out with her friend Nicole. We started the Boys weekend off by taking our bikes on the train down to Ventura for the afternoon. We rode all along the beach in Ventura and out on the pier. It was lots of fun. We caught the train back to Carpinteria and then went out for corndogs and ice cream!

Future Photographer??

These are some pictures Braedyn took with our camera that turned out kind of cool looking. I have no idea how he got the black and white look, I'm going to have to ask him how to use our camera I guess.

Pumpkins

On our trip to Iowa, Braedyn had gone to the store with Mema and bought a pumpkin. So when we got home he just felt like we needed to have some pumpkins to decorate our front porch with. So we headed on down to the local, Carpinteria pumpkin patch and picked out a few.
