Carpinteria TBall

Braedyn signed up for T-ball this year but only lasted a few games before deciding the BMX was a lot more interesteing. Braedyn and daddy still go practice t-ball in the front yard, but playing with a bunch of other kids is just a little too slow moving.

 
 
 
 

More Racing

We headed to OrangeY BMX for a day of racing last weekend. Braedyn had a lot of fun checking out a new track and going with some of his buddies. There was a professional photographer there that got a few good shots of Braedyn

We always knew that Braedyn loved riding his bike and racing BMX, he talks about it all the time. But one recent day at school I got to see that BMX racing is on his mind constantly. Braedyn used the magna-tiles at school to build a BMX track complete with a start gate and then proceeded to run gates with some little cars. Here's a short video of it.

Snow in Paradise

Well apparently Carpinteria was feeling bad about hogging all the perfect weather and our city decided we should suffer with everyone else having snow storms so they imported a little patch of snow one Saturday for the kids to play in. Braedyn had a blast and there were lots of neighbor kids and school friends there to play with. After that he tried out some ice skating on fake ice and then we went to the beach.

Ventura Beach Day

We had a nice day down at the beach in Ventura. They have a great playground on the beach near the pier. The pier was closed that day due to high surf, You can sort of see it in the first picture where the waves are hitting the bottom of the pier which is at least 20 ft high, the picture shows some smaller waves.

Making Juice

Braedyn has pretty much taken over the juice making job. He loves smashing all the fruits and veggies into that thing and watching the juice squirt out.

We had breakfast with the characters one morning inside Disneyland. It was a blast. Braedyn got lots of signatures in his book.

Disney Characters

One of the highlights of Disneyland for Braedyn was all the characters.  He just loved getting autographs and pictures with all of them. He really didn't know any of them before we went, but picked up on it really quickly.

We spent 3 days at Disneyland with Mema and Papa. What a blast!

Well it was a nice sunset until my phone took a picture of it. But it was a nice mother-son picture anyhow...

Firetrucks

We headed to a little fair in town and the Carpinteria fire department was there. Braedyn was the first one to run up and get the full tour. He spent about 30 minutes looking into all of the nooks and crevices on the truck.
