Stairway

On our trip to Puerto Galera we visited a place called the Stairway Foundation. This is a place that Davis had visited the week prior on a school trip called Classroom without Walls. The Stairway Foundation is a learning and resource center for children's rights located in the Philippines. It is a group that helps troubled children by pulling them out of the places they are in and giving them some basic education and then placing them in communities that will help them continue their education later on in order to keep them from poverty and sexual abuse. It was a great place to visit and they are doing some really neat things. Davis had made some good friends there in the time that he was there and so was greated with a warm welcome!
