San Diego Trip
We tried to plan our trip to San Diego so Braedyn could race in the Nationals at the Olympic Training Center. We only went for 1 day (they were going for 4), but Braedyn had a great time seeing what a HUGE race was like. Their were over 200 mottos so we had lots of time to relax and eat slushies and kettle corn between races. Braedyn made it to the semi-finals in the 5 and under class.

Sea World
How many ways can I go down?
San Diego Trip
The hotel we stayed at had some fancy water slides that Braedyn could not get enough of. Our good friends and their 3 kiddos joined as at the hotel twice for some major pool fun. Although it was majorly cold, in my opinion, to be swimming. Once again I found myself relieved Braedyn can swim. Mike only got in when our friends were there; otherwise, we lounged while Braedyn swam his heart out. I have decided I am more of a HOT weather swimmer.

Back in School
Braedyn stated back to school last week. He only went 2 days and then he ditched for our San Diego adventure, but now he is all settled in to his new routine.
Doing his stature pose on the first day of school.

Talking to Ellen, the director of LG, about something important I'm sure.

Making sure the water pump still works.

Waterpark at legoland
LEGOLAND
Last trip to legoland the water park wasn't open yet... so this was a new experience for Braedyn. Eli skipped the water park so it was just Braedyn and I for this part. It was way to cool for me to join in and go with him, added to the fact I had no swimsuit, but Braedyn had no problem doing it ALL on his own. I waited at the bottom and stayed dry. A few people commented on how friendly and brave Braedyn was to be doing the slides on his own. He barely eked out that extra 1/2 inch he needed to be able to do everything in the water park so there was no stopping him. He swims well enough and there were lifeguards galore, and only once did he need saving! That darn lazy river current! If the lifegarud wasn't going in, I was. I know I know, crazy mom lets her 4 year do the watepark on his own. That being said, all went well and I was WARM (while he shivered the entire hour with a huge smile on his blue lips).
Legoland Again!
