Kindermusik

Braedyn has been going to Kindermusik pretty much since we moved to Washington. Mommy takes hime each week while daddy gets to tag along only every once in awhile. Braedyn really seems to enjoy it there, although he sort of hangs back a little and keeps an eye on what is going on. There are lots of songs to sing, different instruments to play and other kids to watch so it is always exciting. Many of the songs are well known at home, when he's told about Kindermusik he'll name off a couple of the songs with the one or two words that represent them to him, or break into a spontaneous groove dance that is in pure Braedyn style!

Traveling

On Thursday morning we packed up and headed to the airport to go to Iowa for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a rather uneventful plane ride from Seattle to Denver and then from Denver to Cedar Rapids. It was certainly a little tougher this time around as Braedyn does not just sit still anymore and so was walking the aisles of the planes for a majority of the flight. Luckily he's sorta cute so most people just smile. As long as he isn't screaming I guess most people will be happy to see him.... On our flight out of Seattle we were taking a peak in the cockpit when the pilot came in. He invited Braedyn in to have a seat in the pilot seat and play around a bit with all the buttons and controls and encouraged daddy to take some pictures.

We made it in to Iowa just fine, Braedyn even did well without taking a nap the whole day!

Blocks

Braedyn's really gotten into stacking blocks up lately, mainly for the purpose of knocking the stack over once it is built up to a certain height. He really gets a kick out of the big CRASH.

After awhile, Braedyn just wanted to go outside.

Pacific Science Center

We spent Saturday morning at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. There was a ton of fun stuff to explore and play with there.

Here's Braedyn with a giant bubble machine.

Daddy and Braedyn on a giant water wheel. Braedyn didn't like this too much, I guess he didn't want to be a hampster.

In awe of what the buttons at this place do. He's bee pushing buttons at home ever since waiting for something exciting to happen, but no 50 ft water geysers appear at home.

Playing in the toddler area.

We spent the morning at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle where we met Rob and Kallie and the twins. They have a great little toddler area there which Braedyn just loved. He spent a lot of his time going up and down the slide, but also enjoyed running around playing with all the other kids on the other exciting toys.

WE had the tent setup in the house for awhile. Braedyn loved going in there tp play and run around. He's just beginning to discover the thrill of speed as he beging to run...

Braedyn picked out his own outfit today.

forks

Braedyn has started to like having a fork or spoon in his hand while he eats. He rarely uses it to eat with, it's more of a drumstick or other banging instrument. Hands work just fine for eating thank you very much!

Halloween

Braedyn went out on the town dressed as a puppy dog this year. We headed to some indoor festivities at the church down the street from us. There were lots of fun bouncy toys and plenty of candy.

Braedyn's Room

With a little help from the little guy, dad was able to get the baby room completed. Here's a few photos of the end state.

Pumpkins

While all the grandparents were around helping us move we took some time out to go pick out some pumpkins for the upcoming Haloween holiday. Braedyn picked out a few nice rocks and Mima picked some pumpkins out that we took back to the new house. We never got around to carving the pumpkins, but they did have a prominent place on our porch for the holiday.

Fall in Washington

Braedyn has really enjoyed the fall! All the leaves and sticks that fall to the ground this time of year make wonderfully intriguing playthings for a toddler.

Well we're all moved into our new home and pretty well settled in as well. Braedyn has begun exploring the yard and the surrounding areas. We finally got internet service hooked up this week after a drawn out ordeal with the providers around here. So even though we haven't taken a lot of pictures lately, we should be ready to go on the blog again...
