Lou Grant Parent Child Workshop Pre-School Graduation 2011

Each of the kids that graduated got a blue book handed to them as they walked over the bridge. Blue books were made by loving parents who slaved away for many hours making them. They contained snapshots of their years at Lou Grant. Their own little scrap book to help them remember...

Thumbs up... I'm ready to do this thing!

Getting ready to sing their graduation song.

Waiting patiently for their names to be called to walk over the bridge and collect their blue book. This was a very large class and required some patience. Surprisingly they all made it across the bridge.

Chantel heads up all things bmx at Elings park in SB and she blessed Braedyn with her presence at his graduation.

He was so excited! Braedyn likes to give knuckles that explode. It's his signature.

Mema and Papa also made it out for Braedyn's graduation which is the only reason I have pictures of this mile marker. My camera got lost in "the pod" so Mema loaned me hers for the event. Looks like iphone pictures will have to hold us over for the summer.

The dreaded pod arrived

Although I doubt I forget, I had to post a picture of "the pod". My best friend for about a week. Mr. Pod consumed all my time in that short week, almost! I have a new appreciation for corporate moves. This was the first and only out of state move we have done ourselves and it will be the last. (dare I say it)

Mema and Papa visit California one last time

Before all the moving chaos started we went down to V town for some fun. Mini golf, go carts, arcades, and In N Out burger where all part of the action packed day.

Desert Bmx. Phoenix AZ

We took a road trip to Phoenix, AZ for a friends wedding. Braedyn's bike and Dori, our dog, made the trip with us. We checked out two tracks while we were there to give Braedyn some energy burning outlets before sitting through a wedding. Between the hotel water park and bmxing in 90+ degree heat he was very calm, cool and collected for the wedding. It was the perfect spectator weather at dusk but he was HOT, sweaty, dirty, and smelly. Braedyn has no idea how good he has it bmxing in So Cali with nearly 70 degree weather year round.

Manualing the table top (his favorite thing to do in bmx). He cares more about the style of riding right now than he does winning. So be it, he's 5.

Charlie the Monkey

Charlie is a stuffed monkey that went home with each of the blue group kids at Lou Grant over the past 5 months. Charlie goes on adventures with the kids and then they go back to school with pictures and tell all about the things they did with Charlie. So...

Charlie and Braedyn walk the dog

they sleep together (kinda gross, but I got past it)

make pancakes together

and how could they not bmx together. (Charlie was strapped on the front of his bike)

Braedyn telling the kids about his adventures with Charlie

Picking the stick with the name of the next person to go home with Charie
