We headed up to the Sing household for a 4th of July party. There were a ton of other kids there and Braedyn just loved playing with them all. It was nice to see some friends from Colorado as well. We decided to forgo the fireworks in favor of getting Braedyn to bed at a decent hour so we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's a little early.
Braedyn has been wanting a "big boy bike" for quite a while now. Luckily Grandma and Grandpa found a little bike that is just Braedyn's size and had it waiting for him in Colorado. He took to it right away and has been really enjoying it and his only issue is that he wants the training wheels off.
Braedyn has been taking swim lessons at taking swim lessons at the Carpinteria City Pool and is starting to really enjoy swimming again. With the nice weather upon us we've been taking him to the YMCA a few days a week to swim as well so he's getting pretty comfortable in the water.
Our friends from Seattle, Justin, Amy, Eva and June, came out for a visit in May. Although the weather was a little more like Seattle we still had a lot of fun playing at the beach. Braedyn has always loved playing with Eva, and the beach made it even more fun. June really got into the waves too. We gave them the local beach tour heading to Carp city beach, Carp state beach, Rincon, Jelly Bowl/Tarpits, Butterfly beach in Montecito and Sandyland beach. Wow, I guess we did do a lot of beach playing while they were here.... right here in home sweet home, Carpinteria.
