Kate
Kate lives next door and has become a good friend of Braedyn's. They've had the opprotunity to play together quite a bit lately and I'm sure there will be more to come. They certainly have fun together.

Clams
We thought we'd give clams a try one night and didn't have real high expectations for Braedyn eating them. Boy were we wrong, what actually happened was that mom and dad didn't get to eat barely any because some 3 year old loved them so much that he cleared off the entire pot of them. He had so much fun forking them out of the shell too.

Other Fun at Bloomsbury Farm
There was tons more to do at Bloomsbury farm, including some sort of random barrels being pulled behind a tractor, hay rides (without the hay), a big pile of dry corn, huge tractor tires to climb on, and some barrels with saddles. There was also a pumpkin patch, a few haunted houses and lots of other stuff you could buy. All in all it was worth the drive and the money and Braedyn had a blast.

Bloomsbury Farm
When we were back in Iowa for Grandma Great's funeral we got to take an afternoon trip out to Bloomsbury Farm which we wanted to do on our previous visit two weeks prior, but ran short on time. This is a pumpkin patch on steroids. Leave it to Iowa to do it all the way. It is the middle of the country so they should know how to do farms. There were all sorts of fun, really creative things for kids to do. Braedyn especially enjoyed the bouncy pillow, pipe tube slide and the water pumps. This place was a blast for a young kid. At the end of the day Braedyn announced to his MeMa and Papa that he liked this farm, Bloomsbury, better than the other farm (where they plan to build their dream house in the next year or two). Oops!

Grandma Great
We were not home long from our trip to Ia and we got the call that Grandma Great had passed away. So not even two weeks later we were back on a plane to Iowa for her funeral. She was an awesome grandma and great grandma! She will be missed but we are glad she is no longer suffering. Breadyn got to enjoy her company for three years of his life and she so enjoyed him.
