Labor day weekend, WP CO

Braedyn checking out a launch ramp at Trestles

Maybe next year he decides

River rock throwing time

This sign says it all. We moved to the right place for Braedyn's bike thrills and skills.

View from the front porch of our summer stay in Winter Park. It was fun to revisit Labor Day weekend. Early September and the snow was finally gone from the mountain tops only to reappear in a few short weeks. Love the mountains, but glad we live in Boulder where it will be in the 70's and 80's for a few more months. I gotta ease into winter. It's been awhile. Thankful Boulder winters are mild and SUNNY!

Clinic with Lee McCormack and (The Denver Post)

Mike, Grandpa, and mostly Braedyn had a clinic with Lee to learn some more Valmont techniques. The Denver Post had asked earlier in the week if they could be there for it to write an article about Valmont. Braedyn got to be headlined in the Saturday post. He made the front page of the weekend news. Very fun for us. Braedyn, however, was clueless as to the excitement of being in the paper.

The Denver Post photographer most likely zooming in for that headliner shot.

Getting some tips from Lee

A lay of the land. Slopestyle. This is only a small portion of Valmont.

Walking up slopeside with his friend who has been at Valmont a lot of the same times Braedyn has.

Take your pick?!

Pictures from the long lost camera (about one week before the move from Carpinteria, CA)

Jumping on the rocks at Lou Grant Preschool. What is it w Braedyn and jumping? He is always jumping! We bought him a small indoor trampoline to save our couches. He loved to toss the cushions and jump on the springs.

Painting a tshirt at Lou Grant on the blue group campout before graduation

I think he liked purple.

Taking a walk to the beach on the 'secret path' the night of the campout with Lou Grant.

Yup, he started it.

Can't have a campout w/out smores

Braedyn and daddy slept on the grass above the bucket slide. No tent, just sleeping bags. It was a very exciting night out under the stars for them.
