It's been a little rainy here in coastal California so bmx has been on hold. One of Mike's favorite sports years past was rock climbing so he wanted to introduce the sport to Braedyn. Brae really liked it and had no fear of heights. He just climbed right on up the wall like he did it yesterday. I'm sure this will be something they will do more of living in CO as there is tons of rock climbing near Boulder.

Someones a little obsessed! Most kids his age ask for mickey mouse or something of the likes, but Braedyn wanted a bicycle pancake for breakfast. I thought it turned out picture worthy.

Well T ball didn't last long for Braedyn. We gave it a try because he really wanted to play last year, but wasn't old enough. Way to slow moving for this kid right now. I guess we started with to exciting of a sport. Bmx is where it's at for him. Just can't tear him away from his bike long enough to sit on a bench for 20 minutes to hit a ball twice. He loves to hit balls with dad, but that's most likely because it can be a non stop action sport.

This boy loves his bike.

Braedyn turned 5 on our CO trip.

While we were in Colorado Braedyn celebrated his 5th birthday. His great grandma even got to attend this one! Others on the A list were aunts and uncles, my parents, and his Colorado buddy from when we lived in CO. We moved away from Colorado when Braedyn was 11 months old and now he is five!  How time flies....or so they say.  But it kinda does now that I'm getting old(er).

Mike and I hope to continue gifting experiences and family time.  Over more plastic toys that clutter my house surprisingly quickly.  This birthday it was a family ski trip.

Colorado February 2011

Valmount bike park is under construction in Boulder, CO. Opening spring 2011, just in time for Braedyn.  This will be one of his many new playgrounds next year.


Now that is a jump. Lord help me!

Trying to catch snow on his tongue. Being the CA kid that he is we had to go over all the basics, such as; don't stick your tongue to a metal pole! After all this was his first true snow experience.

We took a day off in the middle of skiing to go tubing and splash around here. Braedyn really liked this water slide even if he got water up his nose, every time, at the bottom.
