Yes, this was taken during the wedding ceremony, seconds before the rock candy and ipad saved the moment. I pull out all the stops when my child is in a wedding. To his credit he did manage up front, on his own, for about 10 minutes .

Braedyn on his "new to us" race bike

We found a great little bike on Craig's List for Braedyn. It is bigger and lighter than his old one which we sold on Craig's List (not quite an an even trade, but we didn't come out to bad). He is now racing on 20 inch wheels with the other kids. He still loves his bike and asks to ride every day, 5 time a day, or more. He handles his new bike like an expert, and is quite the little bullet when he wants to be.

Visiting Joshua Hocamp in the Hospital

While we were in Iowa we went and visited Joshua at the children's hospital at the University of Iowa. He is being treated with a low dose chemotherapy drug to help the prednisone work better for him . He was in great spirits and never got sick. Hopefully this works for him and he can get off the steroids he has been on for some time now. They are very hard on his little system:(

Braedyn was a popular guy this summer.  In May he was the one and only ring bearer in my brother, Isaac's, wedding followed up by one of three in my cousin, Erika's, wedding in August.
