The boardwalk along Ventura harbor is a great place to ride bikes. There is also a really fun, new playground out on the sane near the pier that we spent some time at on our trip down there. On our ride back to catch the train we stopped off to watch some people playing drums and Braedyn got invited in to play with them for awhile.

Boys Weekend
Mom ditched us for a few days to go hang out with her friend Nicole. We started the Boys weekend off by taking our bikes on the train down to Ventura for the afternoon. We rode all along the beach in Ventura and out on the pier. It was lots of fun. We caught the train back to Carpinteria and then went out for corndogs and ice cream!

Water Bottle Rockets
We found some plans online for water bottle rockets, just some hose and a pump hooked up to a water bottle with a little air and water in makes for some excitement. This is Braedyn's new favorite toy. Why spend all kinds of money when you can have hours of entertainment for $3 at the hardware store! Braedyn wants to shoot rockets pretty much every day and wants to show them off to all his friends and anyone walking by the house as well.

Clams
We thought we'd give clams a try one night and didn't have real high expectations for Braedyn eating them. Boy were we wrong, what actually happened was that mom and dad didn't get to eat barely any because some 3 year old loved them so much that he cleared off the entire pot of them. He had so much fun forking them out of the shell too.

Other Fun at Bloomsbury Farm
There was tons more to do at Bloomsbury farm, including some sort of random barrels being pulled behind a tractor, hay rides (without the hay), a big pile of dry corn, huge tractor tires to climb on, and some barrels with saddles. There was also a pumpkin patch, a few haunted houses and lots of other stuff you could buy. All in all it was worth the drive and the money and Braedyn had a blast.
