Callaway's Visit

Our friends from Seattle, Justin, Amy, Eva and June, came out for a visit in May. Although the weather was a little more like Seattle we still had a lot of fun playing at the beach. Braedyn has always loved playing with Eva, and the beach made it even more fun. June really got into the waves too. We gave them the local beach tour heading to Carp city beach, Carp state beach, Rincon, Jelly Bowl/Tarpits, Butterfly beach in Montecito and Sandyland beach. Wow, I guess we did do a lot of beach playing while they were here.... right here in home sweet home, Carpinteria.

Working on the Farm

Braedyn had a lot of fun helping out around the farm on the recent trip to Iowa. He helped Papa plant and water trees and also took some time out to explore.

 
 
 

So Sweet at 3

So one of our weekly events is to pick daddy up from work at lunch and head to the beach for a lunch break. We usually try to do this a few times a week. It is a highlight for Braedyn to see daddy in the middle of the workday. This particular day we had just dropped daddy back at work after a fun filled hour or so... After daddy shut the car door and was heading back into work Braedyn somewhat somberly announced from his carseat, "I Love my Daddy SO Much." It was so sincere and heartfelt and completely unpromted. If only Daddy could have heard it first hand. But I quickly called to relay the message.

Santa Barbara Night Moves

Michael and a few people from his work have been doing a weekly swim/run race series. This past week Braedyn joined in for the kids race on the beach.


 
 
 
 

Countdown rings

When we have something big coming up like a trip or someone coming to visit we make a paper chain so that we can count down to the event. This particular chain was made extra big as there were only 3 days until Stevii, Davis, Jaron, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Baldy come to visit us! Braedyn can't wait.

Great Grandmas

Both great grandmas were in town on this visit to Iowa so Braedyn got to hang out with them for awhile.

 
 

Buggy Riding

Braedyn and Talisha recently went back to Iowa to visit with family. They spent a lot of time out at Braedyn's favorit place in Iowa, Mema and Papa's farm. There he got to ride the big buggy.
