Braedyn has been talking A LOT lately. He's been getting better at chaining words together, mostly 2 or 3 at a time. The other day he just threw a bunch together to make his first pseudo sentance!

Alphabet
Braedyn has been working on his alphabet a lot lately. He's been getting pretty good at recognizing the letters and can get pretty much all of them when he wants to...

Puddles
It's clearly the rainy season in the Pacific Northwest! This may make the adults a listtle bluesy and yearning for the sun, but to a toddler there is always a bright side to everything. In this case the bright side manifests itself in endless puddles. Braedyn has had a fascination with puddles since he could move one foot far enough to stomp in them. Now that he's growing it just means he can get to them faster, make bigger splashes, go in deeper ones, throw bigger rocks in them, and so on. There really is no downside to anything here....

Rocking out
There are a lot of instruments to choose from in Braedyn's music storage box. The ones that are out the most and making the noise most of the time are the drums and cymbals. He ju stloves banging away on these things morning, noon and night...
Playing Catch
Braedyn is getting a lot more interested in playing ball lately. He has always been good at throwing, but is now starting to realize that it's fun to try to catch it too!

Happy Year!
Well, it's now 2008 and what a year we had in 2007! It was marked by all kinds of change in our lives and we're excited to look back on it with happiness and excitement. We had so many fun times with friends and family, we moved, we explored and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while doing. There were some tough time in there as well, but we have so much to be thankful for in the year past. We made a move to Washington for a new job that has turned out to be a great move for Michael, he is really enjoying his work at Microsoft. Talisha has been enjoying here time she gets to spend with Braedyn and her new friends, and still somehow finds time to stay in shape and work out a the local gym. We saw our little baby boy grow into a self-thinking little toddler who can walk and talk and get dirty and smile and throw a mean tantrum! We found a house that we are just in love with, and we kept a 4lb dog alive all at the same time!
Happy New Year from our little family to yours! Following is a recap of our year in pictures. We've chosen a few pictures from each month of the year that represented our experience. There are so many other images (4087 to be exact) that could have been chosen, but we thought these were the best.

December
The last month of the year was one of joy! We got to experience our first wet, Washington snow (which makes very good snowmen), spent time with lots of friends at parties and just around, did a lot of baking in an attempt to make mommy worry about how much she was eating, took a couple of sledding expeditions, visited the acquarium, and did more exploring of our new surroundings. We got to spend the holidays as a small family and just enjoy hanging out together with the extra time off we had.
November
November was marked by lots more leaves falling, and now that we had a house it meant we got to pick them up. At least we have a son now to do all of the work around the yard! We spent lots of time exploring the neighborhood and the nearby woods and river with the nice trail by it. We also got to go to the Science Center and some other Seattle fun spots for kids. Thanksgiving time saw us flying back to Iowa for some holiday time with family which included an always favorite trip out to the farm!
