Braedyn and his Iowa buddy, Connor hanging out on the floor. They spent the afternoon looking at each other, seeing who could yell the loudest, seeing who could get to a toy quickest, laughing at each other, and just plain looking cute. Then, once they got tired of impressing their parents, they both went to sleep.

Here's Braedyn and his friend Connor hanging out just chatting about all the fun they plan to have skiing, biking, running, fishing, skeet shooting, and whatever the latest adventure sport is once they are able to walk.

Well the original intent was to take pics of our whole 2006 Thanksgiving roadtrip to Iowa, but unfortunately we get tired, couldn't find the camera, or whatever, but anyhow, this is about the only picture we got. Braedyn and daddy at a rest stop near the Colorado, Nebraska border.

Braedyn was getting a little too helpful on daddy's laptop while daddy was working, so he got his very own keyboard to pound on. That kept him happy for awhile.

Braedyn got a new winter hat and booties for the ski season!

Like father, like son. Braedyn wanted to wear his new khaki cords and blue shirt just like daddy.

UH OHHH! Someone's learning how to crawl..........

He wasn't moving around too much at all, until just today he decided he didn't want to be where he was so he just started going to where he really wanted to be.

We took Braedyn for a hike this afternoon in Boulder at Flatiron Vista trail. It was a little bit cool so we had to stop off and get him a new hat before we went since he's outgrown all the ones we have. He really seemed to enjoy the hike as he was dancing and making noise the whole time. Of course the dancing around made his right sock keep coming off... We're going to have to graduate from the Baby Bjorne to a true backpack, since that thing is starting to hurt daddy's back and isn't the most comfortable for hiking up hills.


We even got lucky enough to meet a nice lady who took a family picture for us.


Later in the hike, Braedyn's hands started to get pretty cold, although he didn't seem cold enough to break out the other 25 layers of clothing we had drug along. So I wrapped him up underneath my vest to warm him up....


Apparently he warmed right up, because he went right to sleep.

Ski Ya Later?!?! Now Braedyn, that's not nice to be talking trash to Connor already.

It's a little colder in Colorado than it was in Hawaii, so Braedyn has to get bundled up for walks in the park.

We made it home and Braedyn is just having fun hanging out in his new favorite shirt.
